Revolution Cheer Gym Staff
Bekah Heverly (Owner/Tumbling Director) started gymnastics at the age of 3 and competed from age 5 until she graduated from Phoenixville HS. While in HS, Bekah participated in cheerleading and track & field. She went on to study Natural Science (with a focus in Physical Therapy) at IUP where she cheered and was named co-captain in her senior year. Throughout college, she coached both competitive gymnastics and cheer/tumbling at several local gyms in the Pittsburgh-area. After graduating in 2013 she went on to run a very successful gymnastics program in the local area. Bekah holds a current USAG, USASF, CPR/FA and concussion certification. Bekah has been with Revolution since 2017 and what she finds the most rewarding is when her athletes are able to apply the skills learned inside the gym in their everyday life and she looks forward to continuing to help athletes reach their full potential and be confident in their abilities!
Kristin Gabriel (Cheer & Tumbling Coach) Kristin started gymnastics at the age of seven and competed until she was thirteen. Kristin began cheering in eighth grade when she made the Arcola Middle School squad. As a freshman at Methacton High School, Kristin was part of the varsity squad which won Suburban One and ECA National titles with Coach Alonna Johnson. Kristin was a four year varsity squad member and a co-captain her senior year at Methacton High School. She was also a member of the Penn Elite Panthers from their beginning in 2005 until 2008 when she graduated. Kristin studied General Biology and Human Development at the University of Maryland, and graduated in 2012 with her bachelor's degree. Kristin currently works in the Pharma industry as a Study Manager in the Cardiovascular Therapeutic Area running global clinical trials. Kristin is USASF certified in stunts, tosses and tumbling through Level 4. She has coached both Penn Elite prep and elite teams at all levels and age groups, from the Kittens to the Panthers, since 2012. Kristin specializes in stunts and flexibility. Her favorite thing about coaching All Star cheer is watching kids from all different backgrounds come together as a team. Cheerleading is more than just a sport, and the lessons athletes can learn from it will have a positive impact throughout the rest of their lives. Kristin cannot wait to see what's next for Revolution and the Penn Elite Family!
Megan O'Neal (Tumbling Coach) Megan graduated from Eastern University in 2013 with an Early childhood, Elementary and Special Education degree. She has been coaching beginning through advanced tumbling and gymnastics for over 10 years. During the day she is a Health and Phys. Ed. Teacher at a small private school in West Chester, PA. In her free time she likes to go on long hikes with her 4yo pit mix and compete in crossfit.
Kate Adams (Cheer & Tumbling Coach) was both a cheerleader and gymnast for most of her life. She was a cheerleader at Downingtown East High School where she was a captain her junior year and had the opportunity to participate in NCA Nationals her senior year. Kate has coaching experience through assistant coaching and teaching tumbling for various school teams. Kate has her degree in Secondary Education from Penn State University and is the Head of the Science Dept at Franklin Towne Charter High School in Philadelphia, PA, where she is also the Head Cheerleading Coach. Kate is USASF credentialed through Level 4 in stunts, tosses and tumbling and coaches both our elite and prep teams. Kate and her husband, Trevor, live in Phoenixville. When she is not coaching, Kate enjoys baking and playing with her crazy dog and cats. She loves being a part of the Penn Elite All Star family!
Alicia Mandraccia (Cheer & Tumbling Coach) Alicia found cheerleading at the age of 10 when she joined both school cheer and competitive cheer. At St. Pius X High School, Alicia was on the competition team, and was named captain in her senior year. She was an NCAA athlete, cheering at East Stroudsburg University. Alicia holds degrees in both Political Science and Communications, as well as, a Masters degree in HR. She has been coaching All Star cheer for over a decade, and has been with Penn Elite for the majority of it. She is USASF certified in stunts, tosses and tumbling through Level 3. Alicia currently coaches the Cheetahs. When she is not at the gym, Alicia works as the Director of Human Resources for a Clinical Research Organization, which specializes in cardiovascular devices. In her spare time, Alicia enjoys spending time with her family, especially her nephew!
Ava Benasutti (Tumbling Coach) Ava is a PJP High School graduate and is currently a student at West Chester University. She was a competitive gymnast for 11 years and coached by Coach Bekah. Ava has been coaching gymnastics and tumbling in the local area for the past 7 years - she loves working with all ages, but has a special knack for the "littles".
